VyStar Credit Union is an outstanding business partner which provides opportunities for CTE students by operating an on-campus credit union branch, student internships, scholarships, and more.  

Vystar Credit Union's High School Branch program provides students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in customer service, teller operations, marketing, finance, and more.  Students have the opportunity to apply to intern with VyStar during the school year and in the summer.  CTE students in business programs take the skills and knowledge they gained from the partnership and will teach their peers about financial literacy.  This opportunity allows students to gain communication and leadership skills.  VyStar also serves on advisory boards, serves as guest speakers, provide scholarships, and other school partnerships.  

This with be the 4th VyStar Credit Union Branch to open in Clay County High Schools including:  MHS, OPH, and FIHS.  

Hands-on experiences prepare students for college and careers.  

Strategy 1.3:  Prepare all students to be full option graduates who are prepared for college, eligible to enlist in military services, or able to compete in the workforce
