| Title State Social Studies Award Winners | ||
| Description Two Clay County high school social studies teachers were recently recognized with state-level awards by the Florida Council for Social Studies (FCSS). These teachers were recognized as Clay County's nominees in June. Breyana Stilts, Middleburg High Social Studies Teacher, received the Warren Tracy Beginning Teacher Award. Justin Daniels, Orange Park High Social Studies Teacher, received the Florida's Excellence in Teaching History Award. Ms. Stilts and Mr. Daniels were selected following a highly competive process involving a review of their professional portfolio and examination of their impact on student achievement. | ||
