Issue/Rationale
Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board. This change order is required to add 800 amp panel and change DC 2, 3, and 4 panelboards to switch boards. Contractor: Parks Electric Service, Inc.; Engineer: KPI Engineering, Inc.
Recommended Action
Approve the change order.
Financial Impact
If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $13,128.50. The substantial completion date is August 3, 2011. Architect fees will increase by $787.71 as a result of this Change Order.
