The selection was conducted in accordance with Florida Statute 287.055.  The project was advertised for three consecutive weeks with The Clay Today.  Selection Committee members were Jim Connell, Director of Facility Planning and Construction, Tod Sweatland, Chief Building Inspector, and Frank Farrell, School Board Member.  

As a result of interviews and after due consideration, the Selection Committee recommends the following firms as listed in priority order:

1.  CPH Engineers, Inc.  - Jacksonville, FL

2.  Southeastern Surveying & Mapping – Jacksonville, FL

3.  Eiland & Associates, Inc. – Orange Park, FL

4.  Charles Bassett & Associates, Inc. – Fleming Island, FL

Appoint the top ranked firm, CPH Engineers, Inc., for Registered Surveying and Mapping Services County-Wide.

All funding necessary for Registered Surveying and Mapping fees resulting from this contract are budgeted within the Educational Facilities Plan.  The exact amount of fees cannot be determined at this time.
