August 17, 2006 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #14 Item Title C-14 2006-2007 Interagency Agreement between the School Board of Clay County (SBCC) and Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) regarding Take Stock in Children (TSIC) (Revised) Issue/Rationale Sharing of information between YMCA and SBCC will address the needs of selected students and provide appropriate programs and services to prevent these children from not completing their education.  TSIC awards Florida Prepaid College Scholarships to selected at-risk students to motivate the students to stay in school, earn good grades, stay alcohol drug-free and to stay out of the Juvenile Justice System.    Recommended Action Approve the 2006-2007 Interagency Agreement between the School Board of Clay County (SBCC) and Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) regarding Take Stock in Children (TSIC) as submitted.
