C-44 Additive Change Order #2 (Days Only) for McRae Elementary School Lightning Protection System

Issue/Rationale

Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications.  Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board.  This change order is required to add days to the contract due to the shop drawings for this project being delayed pending approval of an alternate lightning protection system.  Contractor:  T & M Electric, Inc.; Engineer:  KPI Engineering, Inc. 



Recommended Action

Approve the change order.



Financial Impact

If approved, this Change Order will add thirty (30) additional days to the contract.
