August 18, 2011 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #18 Item Title C-18 Consultant Fee for Julie Teague, Learning Wheels Company Issue/Rationale Julie Teague's consultant fee to conduct three days (9/14/2011, 10/11/11 & 10/12/2011) of math training for kindergarten through 6th teachers from 16 elementary schools exceeds the amount listed in the current salary schedule for nationally known consultants.  The consultant fee is $110 per person and includes all travel expenses, shipping, handouts, and materials.  The current registration is approximately 102 teachers ($11,220).  The number of participants may vary.  Recommended Action Approve Julie Teague's contract as submitted. Financial Impact The consultant fee will be paid from the inservice funds allocated to each of the 16 elementary schools participating.
