Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications.  Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board.  This change order is required to relocate the air handler unit for the overhead ceiling to a storage room for easier maintenance accessibility.  Contractor:  W. W. Gay Mechanical Contractor, Inc.; Engineer:  KPI Engineering, Inc.   

Approve the change order.

If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $9,870.00.  The substantial completion date is August 10, 2011.  Engineer fees will increase by $592.20 as a result of this Change Order.
