C-24 Clay County Education Foundation Audit for Fiscal Years Ending June 30, 2009 and 2008
Issue/Rationale
Request approval of the 2008-2009 fiscal year audit of the Clay County Education Foundation (Foundation) by Teresa Harrington, CPA.
CCSB Policy 6GX-10-1.10 provides that the Clay County School Board has the right and power to approve the annual audit of the Foundation.
Recommended Action
Approval of the audit for fiscal years ending June 30, 2009 and 2008, as presented.
Financial Impact
There is no direct financial effect on the School Board by the approval of the audit of the Clay County Education Foundation.
The Clay County Education Foundation contributes to the excellence of Clay County Schools through funding for supplementary innovative materials and scholarships.
