On January 17, 2013 the Department of Health and Human Services released the final HIPPA Omnibus Rule (“Omnibus Rule”) that provided additional clarity to HIPPA’s privacy, security, enforcement and breach notification provisions.  Included in the Omnibus Rule were expanded responsibilities for business associates.  Due to the Omnibus Rule we are requesting to supplement the Consulting Services Agreement with Aon Consulting, Inc. to provide for the privacy of certain information it uses and discloses in the course of providing the Consulting Services to facilitate compliance with HIPPA.
