Item Title
C-29 Lake Asbury Elementary School Property Conveyance by Easement to the Clay County Board of County Commissioners
Issue/Rationale
The Clay County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) has made an offer to acquire a slope easement on a portion of property owned by the School Board of Clay County and located at the entrance to Lake Asbury Elementary School for the purpose of widening Henley Road (CR 729). Final easement purchase agreement is included for signature along with supporting documents. At the November, 2010 School Board Meeting, the easement agreement was presented for approval.
Recommended Action
Approve the Final Easement Purchase Agreement between the Clay County Board of County Commissioners and the Clay County School Board.
Financial Impact
The total purchase price, payable by the BCC for the purchase of the easement is $3,400.00.
