C-8 Allow students to participate and provide busing for Special Olympics activities on February 23, 2007 from 10:00 to 12:00 at Orange Park High School.

Issue/Rationale

Participation in Special Olympics Track and Field.

To allow special ESE students to participate in activities fostering citizenship, sportsmanship, and athletic ability.

Recommended Action
Superintendent recommends approval of request.

Financial Impact
District ESE budget helps support the use of disabled student accessible buses for this Special Olympics activity at Orange Park High School.
