January 24, 2008 Workshop Agenda Item #2 Item Title Review Clay County's Records Management Plan Issue/Rationale The school district's resources for storage and maintaining information required by law are insufficient to handle the increasing volume of records being generated.  A comprehensive Records Management Study was conducted by SML and recommendations have been provided for consideration.  Due to the magnitude and effect of the recommendations on operations of the school district, it is necessary that the School Board have the opportunity to fully understand the ramifications and current state of the district's compliance with law.
