C-22 2008 Immigrant Grant

Issue/Rationale
The Immigrant Student Grant is an entitlement awarded to eligible school districts who report a significant increase in immigrant children and youth. The objective of the grant is to provide high quality instruction and assist the immigrant students with their transistion into American society. The immigrant grant will place an additional classroom assistant at the following 10 schools: OPH, CHS, RHS, MHS, FIHS, GCSJ, LSJ, TBE and GPE.
