The School Board approved the charter application for the Orange Park Performing Arts Academy charter school. Florida law requires that the parties enter into a contract subsequent to approval of the application and prior to commencement of school operations, which contract, (Charter) sets forth the duties and responsibilities of the parties. Florida Statutes also require a Public Hearing on the matter before the contract is signed.

Superintendent recommends approval of the contract.
