Issue Rationale for bid / RFP to be awarded as required per FS 287, DOE 6A-1.012 and School Board Policy

a.  Fire Sprinkler Systems Services County Wide Bid #14-MA-307:  Contract Period is March 21, 2014 through March 17, 2016 – Bid established for the purchase of on-site services for the inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of fire sprinkler systems at designated schools.  All routine quarterly, semi-annual and annual inspection, testing and maintenance services shall be at firm fixed annual pricing.  Eighteen (18) bids solicited plus listed on our web site for download, four (4) bids received, 1 no bid and 1 not as specified.  The vendor awarded is the lowest most qualified responsive bidder meeting specifications.
