May 17, 2007 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #29 Item Title C-28 Family Literacy Grant through Adult Education Issue/Rationale The office of Adult Education is seeking approval to apply for 50 percent of a $135,647.00 grant from the Division of Workforce Education.  This funding will be used to increase services offered by Adult Education and the Literacy Coalition. Recommended Action Recommend approval of the Grant. Financial Impact If awarded, the impact could supplement $67,823.50 to the Adult Education Budget.
