May 17, 2007 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #9 Item Title C-8 Interagency Agreement between First Coast Technical Institute and The School Board of Clay County, Florida for vocational/technical teaching services Issue/Rationale First Coast Technical Institute (FCTI) employs a culinary arts teacher.  Clay County School Board, in the past has paid FCTI one half of the culinary arts teacher's salary and benefits, in exchange for which, the teacher taught culinary arts at Ridgeview High School.  This Agreement formalizes this arrangement in writing.  FCTI will continue to supply the School Board with a culinary arts teacher and the School Board will pay one half of his salary, including benefits. Recommended Action Approve the Agreement as presented. Financial Impact Cost of approximately $40,000 annually.
