Guaranteed Maximum Price Site Package for Elementary School "X"
Issue/Rationale
In accordance with the School Board contract with Skanska USA Building Inc. for Construction Management At Risk Services for Elementary School “X,” Skanska is to prepare and present to the Board the Guaranteed Maximum Price for the project. The Site Package Guaranteed Maximum Price completes the total Guaranteed Maximum Price for the project and requires approval by the Board to become part of Skanska’s contract with the District.
Recommended Action
Approve the Guaranteed Maximum Price Site Package proposal for Elementary School “X” from Skanska USA Building Inc. Upon the approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price Site Package proposal, this document becomes part of the Construction Manager At-Risk agreement for the project.
Financial Impact
The Guaranteed Maximum Price Site Package for this project is $3,222,770.00 for a total Guaranteed Maximum Price of $24,018,016.00. The project anticipates a May 23, 2007 Notice to Proceed, with Substantial Completion on July 31, 2008. Final Completion is to be achieved August 29, 2008.
Funding for this project is Part III Capital Outlay and is currently budgeted and identified within our 2006-2007 Educational Facilities Plan.
