Issue Rationale for bids to be awarded as required per FS 287, DOE 6A-1.01 and School Board Policy

a. Metal Door Replacement County-Wide Bid #10-MA-300 – Bid established to purchase labor, materials and equipment to retrofit and replace metal doors in existing jambs at a firm fixed price. Contract Period: May 22, 2009 through May 20, 2010. Ten (10) bids solicited plus listed on our web site for down load, three (3) bids received. The vendor awarded is the lowest most qualified responsive bidder meeting specifications.

Recommended Action

Award bids as follows:

Door Solutions, Inc., 10330 Chedoak Court Bldg 300, Jacksonville, Florida 32218
