C-14 Contract for Supplemental Educational Services (SES)

Issue/Rationale
Request approval of the Title I contract for Supplemental Educational Services between the School District of Clay County and Florida Department of Education approved tutoring providers. The contract will provide free tutoring to students on free and reduced lunch at Title I Schools "in need of improvement", "corrective action", or "restructuring" under the No Child Left Behind Act.

Recommended Action
Approve the Title I contract as presented.

Financial Impact
All funds are supplementary to basic education. Tutoring services will be funded through federal funds (Title I part A). Approximate amount for the 09/10 school year: $483,450.
