In July 2008, the School Board approved a resolution to be sent to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) with a recommended impact fee based on the Impact Fee Technical Report dated March 2008.

The BCC discussed the resolution but took no action at their September 9, 2008 meeting.  The School District staff and attorney and the County staff and attorney have worked to resolve all BCC concerns regarding the four possible impact fee amounts shown in the previous Technical Report.  The attached Impact Fee Technical Report has been updated to reflect current housing values, land costs and district revenue and reflects one impact fee amount for single family housing, multi-family and mobile homes.

Approve the Resolution to the Board of County Commissioners with the updated Educational Impact Fee Technical Report establishing the fees at 77.33% of the actual amount which will maintain the fees at the present amounts of $7,034.00 for single family; $3,236.00 for multi-family; and $5,979.00 for mobile homes.
