This agreement is a collaborative partnership between Clay County District Schools and NOVA Southeastern University to provide internship placements for graduate students enrolled in the Speech-Language Pathology program.

Without this agreement, interns cannot be placed in Clay County District Schools and would thereby prevent potential future speech-language pathology candidates from choosing Clay to begin their career.

Clay County District Schools currently has agreements with numerous other colleges and universities and this is a new agreement with NOVA Southeastern University. 

Placement of interns provides speech-language pathology candidates with the experience they need to help prepare them to become licensed speech-language pathologists.

To help support future speech-language pathologists planning a career in an educational setting.

That the Clay County School Board approve the agreement between Clay County District Schools and NOVA Southeastern University.
