Description

The Orange Park Elementary School Roof Repair/Replacement project was listed and approved by the School Board as part of the 2022/23 Educational Facilities Plan (EFP). The district will be utilizing Association of Educational Purchasing Agencies Coop (AEPA #IFB-021-D / PAEC #21-239). The contract amount is $734,976.28. Per School Board policy, contracts over $500,000.00 must be approved by the School Board of Clay County; therefore, this contract is being presented for approval.

Upon approval by the Board, we expect the awarded vendor to provide quality construction services as specified for the Orange Park Elementary Roof Repair/Replacement.

Ensure effective management of the organization, operations, and facilities to maximize the use of resources and promote a safe, efficient, and effective learning environment for Clay County students. 

Recommendation

Award the construction contract to Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc. using AEPA #IFB-021-D / #21-239 Bid in the amount of $734,976.28.
