Increase the District's breakfast and lunch prices by $0.25. Additional revenue is needed to continue offering high-quality meals to the students of Clay County.

Previous Outcomes

Employee salaries, benefits, food, and supply costs are all rising. The Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) team remains committed to meeting the needs of students while maintaining a strong focus on providing fresh, healthy options.

Expected Outcomes

Collect additional revenue needed to accommodate quality menu items and facilitate the ongoing replacement of outdated equipment.

Continue to offer high-quality meals at an affordable price to our community.

Ensure fiscal responsibility through the effective management of district operations in an effort to maximize available resources necessary to provide an environment that is safe, efficient, and conducive to learning.

Recommendation

The Clay County School Board approves the Food and Nutrition Services proposed meal price increase for the 26-27 school year.
