Minutes:

Mrs. Bullock explained the intent of this policy to support our community partnership schools and allow high-risk students needing appointments for services during the day to be transported in a School Board "white fleet" vehicle, operated by employees of the Children's Home Society, a vendor working at Clay County District Schools.  Mrs. Bolla raised a concern about safety seats in the vehicle, should the need arise to support a small child. Mr. Bickner will revise proposed policy to include statutory language provisions for child seats.

3. Florida Safe School Assessment Findings*
Minutes:

Closed to the public (10:50 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.) for Kenneth Wagner, Chief of Police (CCDS), to present the safe school assessment findings and to discuss specific strategies to be implemented to improve the safety and security of the school district.

Minutes:

Victoria Kidwell, President of Clay County Education Association, discussed the current lawsuit brought by the Florida Education Association and the desire for additional input from medical professionals and more comprehensive, pinpointed data re COVID-19 cases.
