| Title C18 - County-Wide Professional Civil Engineering Services Contract Award | ||
| Description The selection was conducted in accordance with Florida Statute 287.055. The project was advertised for three consecutive weeks on the One Clay website. Six (6) firms submitted proposals. Selection Committee members were Paul Bement, Coordinator of Planning and Intergovernmental Relations, Rebecca Smith, Capital Programs Accountant, and Bertha Staefe, Supervisor of Purchasing. As a result of the applications and after due consideration, the Selection Committee recommends the following firms listed below in priority order be selected for a period of 1 year with the option for renewal:

| Previous Outcomes Awarding a continuing contract for Professional Civil Engineering Services authorizes a firm or individual to proceed with School Board projects not exceeding a specified monetary value specified in Board Policy for a period of one year. The appointments may be extended for an additional period if agreeable to the School Board and the civil engineering firms. The appointed civil engineering firms shall be available to design, manage, and inspect any School Board projects under the authorized limit without having to bid against other firms. | ||
| Expected Outcomes This contract allows for more efficient project schedules, which subsequently provides a timely project completion. The appointed civil engineering firms shall be available to design, manage, and inspect any projects under the authorized limit. | ||

| Financial Impact All funding necessary for the civil engineering fees resulting from this contract are budgeted within the Educational Facilities Plan. Fiscal impact will be based on the budget of the individual projects. | ||
