C21 - Interlocal Agreement to Sell Low-Priced Fuel to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office for Use by CCSO Vehicles in the Middleburg Area.
Description

This agreement between the Clay County Sheriff’s Office (“CCSO”) and the Clay County School Board (“CCSB”) is to allow the CCSO to obtain a source of low-priced fuel from the CCSB for CCSO vehicles in the area of Middleburg, Florida.

Gap Analysis

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is in need of a source of low-priced fuel for CCSO vehicles located in the area of Middleburg, Florida, other than the utilization of privately-owned fuel stations.

Previous Outcomes

The Clay County School Board agreed to sell fuel to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office from the Middleburg Transportation Facility for the price per gallon cost plus a 3.54 percent administrative fee charged by and payable to the Clay County School Board.

Expected Outcomes

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office could realize significant savings to the tax payers by purchasing fuel from the Clay County School Board at the facility.

Recommendation

Approve the Interlocal Agreement.
