Title C27 - Change Order #1 for Clay High School Gym Renovations | ||
Description Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer, or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board for approval. This change order is for materials and labor to provide additional handrails in the stairwell and for the purchase of a connex box for the storage of school equipment and materials during remodeling. Following project completion the connex box will be turned over to CCSD Maintenance Department for district use. This change order also includes a deduction from the original contract amount for LED lighting in the gym which was replaced by CCSD Maintenance Department.

Financial Impact This change order will increase the contract amount by $2,456.82. Architect fees, contracted at 8.82%, will increase by $216.69 as a result of this change order. These funds are available and budgeted in the Educational Facilities Work Plan. | ||
