Bettercloud is a data management and automation platform for our Google and Microsoft Cloud applications. 

Bettercloud automates many of the account creation and account changes in our Google Workspace domain. In addition, Bettercloud has a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) component that protects Google documents that might contain sensitive data from being shared outside of the district.

This purchase adds the ability to manage both Student and Employee accounts for only $96.73 more than we were previously paying for Employee accounts.

Previous to this purchase we were only managing changes to Employee accounts. This purchase adds the licensing to manage Student accounts as well.

CCDS has used Bettercloud for automation and DLP since 2018. The 2023 cost was $110,495.00.
