Description Each district shall develop, in collaboration with local workforce development boards, economic development agencies, and postsecondary institutuions approved to operate in the state, a strategic 3-year plan to address and meet local and regional workforce demands. | ||
Gap Analysis Adopting this document will be a roadmap for the CTE Department as it serves the students, families, business partners, and stakeholders of Clay County regarding workforce demands. It will also ensure Clay County complies with statutes and regulations regarding the CAPE plan. | ||

Expected Outcomes Approval of this document will align the activities of the Career and Technical Education Department with the expectations of the Florida Career and Professional Education Act. | ||
Strategic Plan Goal Goal 1 - Engage all students to attain the necessary skills and knowledge to be future-ready graduates Goal 3 - Engage families and the community in the educational process to create robust learning opportunities and partnerships that support and prepare students to be successful throughout the K-12 educational experiences, leading to graduation and beyond. | ||
