Advertisement for the 2017-2018 Tentative Budget and Millages
Following the review of the Tentative Budget and Millages, the School Board will be asked to approve the Advertisement for Notice of Tax for School Capital Outlay which will also include a Notice of Budget Hearing.

Prior Advertisements, Tentative Budget and proposed levies have been approved, executed in accordance with Florida Statutes.
The advertisement will be published as required by Florida Statute.
The District ensures fiscal responsibility and equitable distribution of resources.
A. That the Clay County School Board accept the advertisement for the proposed 2017-2018 tentative budget and proposed levies as follows:

The total millage rate to be levied is less than the roll-back rate by 0.47 percent.
B. That the Clay County School Board authorize publication of legal notices and advertisement of a public hearing to be held on August 1, 2017, at 5:01 p.m. on the proposed millage rates and the tentative budget in accordance with Sections 200.065 (2),(3),(10), 1011.71, 1011.03 Florida Statutes. The notices and advertisements will appear in The Clay Today on Thursday, July 27, 2017.

The proposed levies are approximately $71.7 Million and are critical for the ongoing operation the district.
