In accordance with State Requirements for Educational Facilities and Florida Statutes, an Educational Plant Survey must be done at least every five years.  The Five Year Educational Plant Survey is a systematic study of the existing educational and ancillary plants, a comparison of those existing facilities to the facility lists and the DOE’s projected number of future students and thus the future needs for renovation, remodeling and new construction are determined.  The purpose of the Five Year Plant Survey is to aid in formulating plans and budgets for housing the educational activities of students and staff of the District for the next several years.  The Five Year Educational Plant Survey is required to ensure the funding either budgeted or anticipated for all recommendations is eligible for Part III expenditure.

The School Board approved the Previous Five Year Educational Plant Survey in May of 2016.

It is expected the Board will approve the 2021 Five Year Educational Plant Survey.
