This amendment adds terms to ICA 220123 and MOU 230028 between the School Board of Clay County and BGCNF previously approved by the school board.

Currently seven Clay County schools utilize the BGCNF program and this amendment adds terms to the ICA under "Safety and Student Transportation" and adds Paragraph 15 for each school on the MOU that "BGCNF will include language in its advertising, permission slips, waivers, etc. that expressly notifies and explains that The School Board of Clay County, FL its agents, entitities, and employees are not connected to the BGCNF's activities and that the Board shall be released and held harmless from liabilities of every kind and nature in connection with, arising from, or related to BGCNF's use of the Board's faciliti[es]."  

BGCNF program has been previously approved to work with students in seven qualifying Clay County Schools (Montclair Elem., Grove Park Elem., Wilkinson Junior High, Orange Park Junior High, Orange Park High, Clay High and Keystone Heights High)

That CCSB will approve the amendment adding terms to the ICA under "Safety and Student Transporation" and adding Paragraph 15 to all seven schools listed in the MOU. 

Goal 1: Engage all students to attain the necessary skills and knowlege to be future-ready graduates.

Strategy 1.3: Graduate students who are ready to enroll, enlist, or be employed in the workforce.

That the School Board of Clay County approve the Amendment to MOU between the School Board of Clay County and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida.
