Title C31 - Change Order #5 (Reconciliation of GMP) for Spring Park Elementary School
Description Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board for approval. This Change order is needed to reconcile the contingency funds identified in the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) approved on March 3, 2022 for Spring Park Elementary School (formerly Elementary School “R”). Contingency funds were included in the GMP to address unforeseen issues, change of scope items, and COVID related material procurement challenges. The collaborative efforts of Parrish McCall Constructors, Inc., Bhide & Hall Architects, P.A., and School Board of Clay County’s Facility Planning and Construction Department, resulted in $573,344.91 of the Capital Funds being returned to the District via this Deductive Change Order. This Change Order will allow the project to be closed out and issuance of final payments.
