September 5, 2019 - Regular Meeting and Public Hearing on the 2019-2020 Budget
Adopt the Budget (All Funds) for 2019-2020

TRIM requires two public hearings for open discussion of millage rates and budgets of taxing authorities.  The first hearing was held on July 30, 2019 at 5:01 p.m.  to adopt the proposed millage and the Tentative Budget.  The second hearing is to adopt the millage and the final budget for the 2019-2020 school year.

The first substantive issue discussed by the governing body of taxing authority is the percentage increases or decrease in millage over the rolled-back rate necessary to fund the budget, if any.  The second is to discuss any major modifications to the budget for 2019-2020.   The general public is allowed to speak and ask questions prior to adoption of any measures by the governing body.

The millage rate is adopted first and budget is adopted second.
