Issue/Rationale
Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board. This change order is required for additional electrical work not in the original scope of the project. Contractor: Gary S. Bailey, Inc.; Engineer: KPI Engineering, Inc.
Recommended Action
Approve the change order.
Financial Impact
If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $7,958.00. The substantial completion date is September 2, 2011. Engineer fees will increase by $477.48 as a result of this Change Order.
