Item Title
C-20 Middleburg Elementary School Resolution to Dispose of Property and convey to the Florida Department of Transportation and also Provide a Temporary Construction Easement
Issue/Rationale
The property to be conveyed to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) containing 88 square feet more or less, is for the purpose of constructing and maintaining traffic signalization structures along Blanding Boulevard adjacent to Middleburg Elementary School. A Resolution and Deed are included for signature along with supporting documents.
This Temporary Construction Easement is to facilitate the (FDOT) project adjacent to Middleburg Elementary School. The District was notified of the need in June, 2014. Construction is scheduled to take place in 2019.
Recommended Action
Approve the Property Conveyance and the Temporary Construction Easement.
Financial Impact
The total purchase price, payable by the FDOT for the purchase of the Property and the Temporary Construction Easement is $59,975.00.
