C-7 2006 Audit of the Clay County Education Foundation, Inc.

Issue/Rationale

The 2005-2006 audit of the Clay County Education Foundation, Inc., has been received and approved by the CCEF Board of Directors. The independent audit was conducted by Teresa Harrington, Certified Public Accountant.

Article III of the By Laws of the Clay County Education Foundation, Inc., and 6GX-10-1.2 of the rules of the Clay County School Board require approval of the annual audit of the Foundation by the School Board as part of the Board's oversight responsibility.

Recommended Action
Approve the 2006 Audit as presented.
