C-43 Conveyance by Sale of a Portion of Montclair Elementary School
Issue/Rationale
During the October 16, 2014 School Board Meeting, the Board voted 5 – 0 to approve the consideration of the sale, to a private party, of a portion of the Montclair Elementary School property located at 2398 Moody Rd, Orange Park, Florida, provided there was to be no cost to the School Board. The two new members of the Board have been briefed on this prior action and have no objections. The proposed portion of land is of no educational value to Montclair Elementary School, or the School District. A resolution and purchase agreement are included for signature along with supporting documentation.
Recommended Action
Approve conveyance of the property.
