The Florida legislature recognizes the importance of planning for developing human potential and requires each district to develop a comprehensive Professional Learning Catalog. Annually, each district is required to approve a Professional Learning Catalog using the template outlined in Rule 6A-5.071, F.A.C.  Each unique type of professional learning experience is considered a component, also known as a course, and this catalog lists the objectives, activities, and evaluation criteria for each component that can be offered for in-service credit in the 2025-2026 school year.  The 2025-2026 Professional Learning Catalog was developed in collaboration with stakeholders, and based on data in response to student and educator needs in alignment with the CCDS Professional Learning System.

An approved professional learning catalog is a statutory requirement and is required to award in-service credit for certificate renewal. Without one, teachers would not be able to earn in-service credit through CCDS professional learning sessions.

The 2024-2025 CCDS Professional Learning Catalog was approved in June 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year.

The CCDS 2025-2026 Professional Learning Catalog will include professional learning components available for the upcoming school year as determined by stakeholders through a needs analysis process and data informed decision making. Through participation in these professional learning activities, CCDS teachers and leaders can earn the required points for recertification and continue to develop their educational expertise.
