The Continuing Contract for Professional Architectural Services was procured in accordance with Florida Statute 287.055, the Consultant’s Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), and will be for projects up to $7.5 million adjusted annually based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI).  The project was advertised for three consecutive weeks on the district website, www.oneclay.net.  Ten (10) firms submitted proposals. The following firms listed below have been selected for a period of one (1) year with the option for renewal as listed in priority order:

Awarding a continuing contract for professional architecture services authorizes a firm or individual to proceed with School Board projects not exceeding a monetary value, as specified in Board Policy, for a period of one (1) year. The appointment may be extended for an additional period if agreeable to the School Board and the architecture firm(s). The appointed architecture firm shall be available to design, manage, and inspect any School Board projects under the authorized limit without having to bid against other firms.

This contract allows for more efficient project schedules, which subsequently provides a more timely project completion. The appointed architecture firm(s) shall be available to design, manage, and inspect any projects under the authorized limit.

Ensure fiscal responsibility through the effective management of district operations in an effort to maximize available resources necessary to provide an environment that is safe, efficient, and conducive to learning.
