Minutes:

Dr. Susan Legutko, Assistant Superintendent for Business Affairs, presented the tentative budget for the 2019-2020 fiscal year and explained how the roll-back rate is calculated.  She reported the total millage rate to be levied is more than the roll-back rate by 19.44%, so the district will be required to advertise a tax increase.  The first public hearing on the millage rates and the tentative budget will be held on July 30, 2019.  The proposed annual budget for all funds for the 2019-2020 school year is $440,335,363.  The unassigned General Fund balance on June 30, 2019, is estimated at 4.52% with an estimated 4.74% at June 30, 2020.

Mrs. Gilhousen expressed concern about the backup documentation for the July 8, 2019, emergency Special meeting and how an immediate danger to the public welfare was portrayed.  Mrs. Bolla expressed similar concerns.
