| Title C17 - Clay County Sheriff’s Office Purchase of Three (3) Sheriff’s Office Vehicles (Clay County Agreement/Contract No. 2023/2024-200) | ||
| Description The current agreement between the School Board of Clay County and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office allows CCSO to purchase vehicles if requested at the beginning of the agreement per line item 4(c). After the third quarter CCSO Budget to Actuals review, CCSO has available funds to purchase three (3) additional vehicles. While vehicle acquisition typically involves a lengthy process, we have been advised that three (3) vehicles are currently in stock and immediately available. Acquiring these vehicles now will also result in a cost saving before a manufacturer's price increase is scheduled for next year. | ||

| Financial Impact The funds have already been allocated to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office. The cost for each vehicle is $73,664 for a total cost of $220,992; however, no additional funding is required. | ||
