| Title C27 - Change Order #1 for W. E. Cherry Elementary School Spalling Remediation/Roof Replacement (Buildings 3 & 4 Reroof) | ||
| Description Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board for approval. This change order is for unforeseen conditions in the structural repairs made to the concrete walkway on the second floor on Building #4. Additional contract time requested for material procurement delay due to market conditions and availability for metal cap flashing on roof. Thirty-nine (39) days have been added to the contract making the Substantial Completion date August 9, 2022 and Final Completion date August 23, 2022. | ||

| Financial Impact This change order will increase the contract amount by $61,450.00. Architect fees, contracted at 8%, will increase by $4,916.00 as a result of this change order. These funds are available and budgeted in the Educational Facilities Plan. | ||
