Title C38 - Change Order #1 for Orange Park Elementary School Restroom Renovations | ||
Description Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board for approval. This change order is for reduction of tile and isolation valves in several restrooms resulting in a credit, the addition of access control key cards on two restroom doors per new House Bill 1473-04-er, replacement of one existing roof top exhaust fan that was not part of original scope of work, removal of water heater discovered in ceiling that did not meet current code requirements, and existing exhaust fan modification in Building 5 (wall patching, paint, and soffit modifications). | ||

Financial Impact This change order will increase the contract amount by $39,539.44. Architect fees, contracted at 8%, will increase by $3,163.16 as a result of this change order. These funds are available and budgeted in the Educational Facilities Work Plan. | ||
