3. Schools Recognized as Model Schools for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support
Minutes:

Superintendent Broskie and Laura Fogarty, Director of Climate and Culture, recognized nine (9) schools that have been recognized by Florida Positive Behavior Interventions and Support as model schools for establishing a framework for integrating effective strategies and programs for student behavioral support.  Principals of each school were presented with a banner reflecting the model school designation.

4. Community First CARES Foundation Check Presentation
Minutes:

Makayla Buchanan, Executive Director, Clay Education Foundation, introduced Missy Peters, Executive Director, Community First CARES Foundation representative and Lisa Ashworth, Board Chair of Clay Education Foundation, who presented a check in the amount of $20,000.00 in support of educational needs and supplies for teachers.

6. Cost Savings Report from Cenergistic, Inc.

Minutes:

Phil Hans, Director of Maintenance, introduced Roseann Jolley from Cenergistic who gave an overview of the district's cost savings and reported on the value of having this energy program.  Currently, 28 of the district's schools have earned the EnergySTAR certification demonstrating their commitment to high standards in energy conservation.

30. School Board Member Comments
Minutes:

Board members expressed their appreciation for the approval of the ED.F.I.R.S.T referendum that will provide much-needed support for deferred maintenance needs throughout the district as well as their appreciation to Board Chair Carol Studdard for her dedication, commitment, friendship, and mentoring throughout her 28 years of service.  Gratitude to military veterans and their families was also noted.
