Courtney Roberts, the district's coordinator for the Jim Harbin program, introduced the student winners.  There were students from 16 categories that placed this year for Jim Harbin awards at the state FAME awards on November 30, 2018, in Orlando.  See attached list for the student winners and their category placements.

Minutes:

Superintendent Davis reported that December's Community Connections will focus on "Healthy Holidays."  He wished everyone a great holiday and commented briefly on the holiday party held on December 4th for school district administrators. 

The December Champion of Change was Board Attorney, David D'Agata, who will be leaving the district on December 21, 2018.  Mr. Davis thanked Dr. D'Agata for his time and service to the school district.

Dr. D'Agata wished the Board well and urged the Board to continue with its work in policy review and development.

Minutes:

Board members commented on recent school events they attended.

Mrs. Bolla requested a workshop be scheduled in January to discuss safety and security costs and options for next year, and a plan for millage revenues.

Mrs. Bolla will serve as the Board's representative on the district's Insurance Committee.  Chair Studdard will work on the 2019 committee assignments and send out the updated list when complete.
