Mrs. Clark expressed the importance of carefully examining all attendance boundary changes to minimize the impact on families. Mrs. Bolla advised that, given the substantial growth in Clay County, it is critical to consider all areas, and attention to planning is important.

Minutes: During an earlier presentation of the Superintendent's Update, Mrs. Gilhousen requested that the board receive results of the climate survey. Mrs. Gilhousen expressed appreciation to the superintendent and operations department for their efforts and decisions relative to rezoning. Mrs. Bullock shared portions of letters written by Keystone area residents, requesting consideration for the educational needs of the Keystone community. Mrs. Bullock and Mrs. Kerekes encouraged the prioritization of these needs, along with the needs of other schools. The possibility of holding a workshop was discussed. Board members collectively expressed congratulations to the student-athletes and science fair participants, and their regret re the impact COVID and resultant quarantining has had on school programs, students, and families. Consideration of alternative options to secure substitutes may be examined. Board members are attending Florida School Boards Association 34th Annual Day in the Legislature Virtual Conference.
