Minutes: Mrs. Kerekes introduced Mrs. Felicia Hampshire who was recently recognized at the state level during Florida's Black History Month where she was given a monetary award from the Phoenix Foundation. Mrs. Felecia Hampshire, in turn, presented a $1000 check to Charles E. Bennett Elementary School to help with school improvement needs. |

Minutes: Mr. Matthew Hutchins, Chair of the Clay Educaton Foundation, introduced Makayla Buchanan as the new Executive Director. A $15,000 check was presented to the Clay Education Foundation jointly by Wells Fargo, Stem2Hub & MOSH. |

Mrs. Gilhousen had a concern about asking the state legislature to raise the millage after Clay County voters recently approved a local millage increase. She asked for input from fellow Board members. Board discussion followed in which it was pointed out that this year's legislative session is almost over and discussions about the Board's legislative priorities need to come much earlier in the year. Mrs. Bullock asked that specific school names be added under the proposed Choice Programs. |
